Reapplying to a course you previously declined

Hi all
I am wondering if reapplying to universities you previously rejected offers from is taken into consideration if applying a second time. Just to elaborate, if I applied to a course at x university, made it my firm, got and then met my offer with my actual a level grades but then decided to decline that place and pursue a gap year, if I then applied for that same course at x university the following year, would they judge me at all for having declined the place the last year? Would it change my chances at all or do they treat is as a usual application? I already know about deferred entry but I am not happy with my predicted grades so that doesn't apply.

It won't make a difference, most won't even check if you have made a past application and will treat your new one as a completely fresh one 🙂
