Hello,

I also studied biology and geography at A Level (and chemistry) and ended up studying pharmacy at Bath. However, this may not be appropriate for you as it is more of a combination of biology and chemistry.

I did consider courses more related to geography, for example geosciences and environmental science. Environmental science in particular includes more of a combination of biology and geography.

Unfortunately at Bath we don’t offer geography-related subjects but we do have a variety of biosciences available (which can be accessed here: Biosciences courses). These tend to lead to lab-based employment or further education after graduation.

If you go down the route of environmental science or geosciences, lab-based work is also a possibility, but there are also other types of work possible such as environmental consultancy or wildlife management. This type of work may also incorporate an aspect of business, which might interest you.

Overall, I would recommend considering which subject area is most appealing to you, and consider what type of career you would enjoy after university.

Please let me know if I can help with anything else 😊
Lauren,
University of Bath.
