Does teach first accept a star equivalency?

My school are pushing for me to enrol for teach first in September. I have to do my maths, English and science as functional skills are not accepted. I want to go with a star equivalency however, can’t get a definite answer if they are accepted by teach first! Does anyone know? It’s a pricey route to make a mistake!!

When you refer to "a star equivalency", I assume you're referring to the organisation by that name?

Teach First's eligibility requirements say, with respect to GCSEs:

"To train to teach, you must have at least:

grade C/4 or equivalent in GCSE maths
grade C/4 or equivalent in English
for primary teaching, grade C/4 in one GCSE science subject as well"

Note the repeated references to "or equivalent". Only Teach First themselves will be able to tell you whether they consider qualifications from A Star Equivalency to be acceptable to them.
Hi @Katief92 ,
according to the section on eligibility requirements of their website, under FAQ- they only accept the equivalency tests from equivalencytesting.com.
I hope this helps.
