Is University of Plymouth good for an MSc in Finance?

Hi,
I'm applying for an MSc in Finance at the University of Plymouth, and all I wanna know is if the course is worth it, since it doesn't seem extensive enough. Additionally, are there good employment opportunities after graduating from here? And what about the alumni network?
Would appreciate a few responses.
Thanks!

Hi there! 🙂

I'm a current Plymouth student and, although I don't study finance, I can definitely answer any university/city/student-related questions you might have!

Our Fitzroy building, the home to the school of business, has recently undergone a major renovation, so the modern and state-of-the-art learning facilities are excellent should you choose to study with us!

We have a dedicated Careers Service team based in the student hub of our library, who can be contacted any time for questions, queries and support with graduate jobs, placements, and employment opportunities. You can find more about them here! Because of this dedicated team, you can have the confidence to progress into a graduate role or employment after your MSc with plenty of knowledge and experience supporting you.

Our Alumni network is also very extensive and has connections to past students and staff across the entire university. We have a dedicated alumni team and support students in connecting with the network through schemes like mentoring, alumni awards and networking events. You can find out more here!

If you have any more questions about the university, feel free to let me know! 🙂
