Extenuating circumstances

Ive submitted my uni applications but im. alittle behind on submitting my extunating circumstances forms. Their deadlines are in a week and two weeks respectively, but im worried that they may consider my application before having the full picture. Im talking about UCL and KCL

The reason they give you those deadlines is so they know when it's safe to begin considering your application. They won't make any decision until those deadlines are reached, and they have all the relevant information available to them.

Thank you Datavenia, im extremely neurotic about these things so thank you for responding. I have another question if thats fine. Im into my cambridge application portal and it says the following at the bottom: 'If you want to tell us why you chose the specific course at Cambridge, you can add a personal statement. This is optional.'

Theres some room for doubt here; Are they requesting an entirely new personal statement or a repeat of the previous one already submitted to UCAS?

They don't want a repeat of your UCAS personal statement (there isn't room anyway, as I seem to recall Cambridge only give you 2000 characters).

It's for scenarios where your main UCAS personal statement is for one course (that you applied for elsewhere) but you're applying for something different at Cambridge (which is only available there). It gives you the opportunity to target a Cambridge-specific course, and is entirely optional.
