How likely am I to get an LSE offer

Hey! I achieved AAB for my a levels this year (lower than what I was predicted and had hoped :frown: ) and decided to take a year out. Now that it’s time to start applying to uni again, I was just wondering if anyone has gotten into LSE international relations with grades similar to mine? I am contextual so do meet their contextual offer and have good gcse grades with a mix of 9s and 8s. With a good personal statement, do you think it’s worth me applying? I just don’t really want to apply and waste one out of my 5 choices with somewhere im pretty much not going to get an offer from. Any advice would be appreciated !
Any tips on an international relations personal statement would also be handy!

Given that your achieved grades meet those required by contextual candidates, and that UCAS confirm here that LSE have previously accepted candidates with AAB grades, then it seems clear that you have a non-zero chance of an offer. Trying to estimate a likelihood of your chances of an offer (other than "non-zero") is an impossible task, unfortunately.

Hey, thanks for the response! Do you know if the data they used for this are based on students who ended up going to LSE or all students who were given an offer?

Well, if AAB students were accepted they were clearly given an offer. This page goes into quite a bit of detail as to how UCAS pull the data together.

Perhaps you're referring to the "How do you compare" section, which (as explained at the page I've linked to above) shows the percentage of offer-holders who were accepted with a particular a grade profile. It does therefore not consider those who did not receive an offer.
