Art Portfolio pages for 3D Animation and visual effect

Hi I’m currently working on my art portfolio to send to universities and I’m wondering can the pages be over 20? Or should it be lower than that?

The other question is in my portfolio I have human anatomy/studies, perspective drawing, character designs, 3D modeling, animation, digital painting, and oil painting. What else do I need to include? Or how can I improve it?

Hi @Llllan

We have a page giving some general portfolio advice here https://www.aup.ac.uk/posts/top-tips-on-building-a-creative-portfolio

It really is best to try and stick to 20 pages/pieces of work. Do you have someone who can help you curate your portfolio by picking the best stuff? You don't need to include everything you've ever done. Just the best of each type of work you want in there.

Hope that helps
