Trinity Hall Cambridge 2025 applicants

havent seen anyone else apply for trinity hall so wanted to start a thread! what course did everyone apply for?

Well, I am a Chinese student who applies for mathematics in Trinity Hall, and I heard that, this year, there will be 3 Chinese students with STEP scores SS applying for mathematics in Trinity Hall😭 I just have 11 for my STEP

But anyway, I think this information may not be useful for local students since international students will compete with other international students😂 So just consider it as a funny(?) story

probably the politics, i love political theory/philosophy. I havent really come across much sociology/anthropology before as obviously ive never studied them at school or anything. im mainly drawn by the multidisciplinary nature of the course more than anything, i love the flexibility it gives you in granting you different world views through the lens of different disciplines

hey I'm applying for maths at trinity hall as well, don't you need to STEP in the year that they are applying?

Generally yes, but the competitions in China are harsh, so many Cambridge math applicants will choose to sit STEP one year advance to increase their competitiveness

There are quotas for home students. Internationals are effectively in a different pool.

idk whether you guys know this already but on the applicants webpage for trinity hall it says for each subject whether interview offers have been given out or not. might save you a bit of stress!
