Work experience form help

Hello, I need help in filling out my supplementary applicant for RVC. I actually completed work at a dog and cat shelter but they refuse to give me a reference letter since I did not do more than 40 hours (I did 38 hours) I am no longer in the country so it will not be possible for me to do more hours. I do however have emails confirming my shifts along with the date and hours I will work. Can I use this as a way to provide evidence? What else can I do?

Hi there ! I’m a final year RVC student so thought I’d try help! If I were you I would record it as work experience and collate together the emails and any info you have to prove you were there. Then when it comes to the interview day you will be taken to have your documents and work exp checked. There you can explain the situation, from personal experience they’re pretty chill! I had the majority of my work exp proof just written on a piece of paper saying I had completed x amount of hours with their telephone and email attached for RVC to have in case they needed to check. So perhaps do the same ? Ask the work exp if they’d be okay if you give their contact information to the RVC in case they just need to check you attended when you said. Hope that helps!
