Newcastle Partners Program

Does anyone know the chance of getting accepted to the partners program? Does anyone have any statistics as to what percentage of applicants get accepted? I'm waiting for their decision and I'm really anxious about it right now.

Hi @highchlorophyll

To take part in the PARTNERS Programme you must meet all of the Essential Conditions and one (or more) of the Eligibility Criteria.

There is no cap on the number of applicants we can accept on to the PARTNERS Programme. However, please note that acceptance on to PARTNERS does not guarantee an offer of study from the University.

Hi @joudie

Once you have submitted your PARTNERS application, we will aim to inform you whether you have been accepted into PARTNERS, within 20 working days from the date your referee has verified your application. This may be longer in certain periods, depending on how busy our PARTNERS team are.

If you would like to check on the status of your PARTNERS application, please Create an enquiry using our Enquiries form and we will be able to help.

I hope this helps 😊

Hi @adamareeves425

I am sorry about your wait for a response.

As well as Medicine A100, Pathways students are eligible for the lower offer for courses in the Biomedical Sciences Suite (B100, B210, B900, B901, B903, B940, C700, C701) or Pharmacy (B320). You can find more information on this page.

I hope this helps 🙂

Does anyone know if PARTNERS programme accept A Level resit students?

I am resitting both Biology and Maths, but not Chemistry as I achieved an A grade. My school will provide me with predicted grades for these resit subjects. Additionally, if I were to get an offer via PARTNERS, would I have to achieve AA in both the subjects - as they are one grade higher than the typical PARTNERS offer (ABB?). I am applying for dentistry.

Many Thanks!

Hi, thanks for getting in touch

The PARTNERS Programme will accept applications from applicants who are resitting their A Levels.

We accept resit qualifications for our Dental Surgery BDS programme, however, only from candidates who have previously applied to Newcastle Dental School. Resits can be taken over a maximum of two exam sittings and we ask for one grade higher than the offer an individual would otherwise have received.

If you have any more questions regarding this, please contact us on our Enquiries Form.

Hope this helps
