wanting to do orthoptics but only have psychology as a science

i researched into different courses i may want to do, and i have my eye on orthoptics. i find it really interesting especially after having done some intense research. however, after doing research, i know a science is required, typically bio or chem. i know liverpool accepts psych, but im not sure about the other uni's. is it worth it to apply to sheffield and glasgow knowing i only have psych as a science?

I think you're fine for Sheffield:

Science subjects include Biology/Human Biology, Chemistry, Maths, Physics or Psychology

Glasgow requires two sciences. Also note that if you study at a uni in Scotland, Wales or NI, you wouldn't be eligible to apply to the NHS Learning Support Fund for the annual training grant and other benefits.
