Archaeology admissions essay

You know how for the written work/essay submission thingy it says the word limit is 1500? Mine is 1510..... and I'm not sure what to do because it also says "All work must be original and not re-written or corrected for Cambridge" so does that mean I can't edit words out? or I could delete the last sentence (its already an extract of a biger work) but then that leaves me with a whole bunch of sentences with no reasoning for why they were included which they might judge me for and be like ok whats your point here you suck at essays (I'm spiralling).OR I could just submit with 10 words over and they'll be like pssh they don't know how to follow instructions.
So basically what I'm asking is which part of the instructions do you think is more flexible? I could email the college but idk if they'll get back to me quickly (probs not) and if they'll think I'm stupid. please help lol soz for the essay.

The leeway on word counts is usually 10%. At absolute worst, they ignore the last 10 words. It's simply not an issue, submit 1510.
