Is it possible to get into UBC with predicted BBC

I really want to study pharmacology at UBC but my predicted grades are BBC which isn’t my usual average. I’m scared I’m going to get immediate rejection from there with my predicted. Do I still have a chance? Studying at UBC is my dream.
Hi. I am a Canadian student in Ontario but very familiar with UBC. https://you.ubc.ca/ubc_programs/pharmacology/
Use this link here. I think that can help. Unfortunately, the required elements are not what your predicted grades entail, but what I understand is that predicted grades can change according to performance. Focus on studying. If you can't because of external reasons, make sure to explain that in your application. The university will also look at your GCSE grades, so don't lose all hope.

Wishing you the best of luck!

Hi thank you so much for replying. We did exams for our predicted grades and I messed up so bad, they won’t change my grade no matter what I do. I only have the actual alevels left but I don’t think UBC will wait for them. So I should include it in my application? Because my teachers said they would say in the reference that I’m so much better than what I was predicted.

Hi idk if the other reply sent but my teachers said they’d put in the reference that I am so much better than what I was predicted. Do I still need to include it in my application? And I don’t think UBC would wait for the actual a level exams result

You must list all your pending subjects and your teachers will be asked for predictions.

It’s a bit odd for them to be willing to vouch that you are a higher performer than your predictions suggest, but not willing to revisit them.

How far are you away from the typical offer?

In the uk the typical offer is AAB but I don’t want to stay uk I really want UBC. It’s so annoying they won’t change my grades my school is actually the worst man

AAB is a massive gap away from UCD. Have you asked them what you can do to raise them?

While you need to know that I am not an admission officer, if you messed up on your exams because you didn't study I don't know but if it was because of something like mental health or a personal reason or anxiety, you can mention it as a special circumstance. You do understand that the UBC application also has a writing component, do well on your PS. If your teachers vouch for you and if you do well and get As on your actual A levels I think you will be okay. Good Luck
