How likely would I be to get caught for taking vodka in an exam

Like in a clear bottle mixed with clear tonic as my "water". Not very likely right? I usually drink when I write my essays because it helps me focus and think of better ideas and write quicker without other thinking too much. and I don't know if there's even rules on it for it to specially not be allowed lol

Sometimes the only appropriate word is 'Stupid'

I write better with a slight buzz going and it's not like they're gonna take a sip from my drink to test what it is

Hi there,

Bringing alcohol into an exam is definitely not advisable and is strictly against the rules at any university, including ULaw. While it might seem like a creative idea, there are very strict regulations around what you can bring into an exam setting. Invigilators are trained to check and monitor what students bring with them, and any attempt to bring in prohibited substances like alcohol could result in serious consequences, including disciplinary action or being disqualified from the exam.

If you find that drinking helps you focus when writing essays, it might be worth exploring other strategies to help with focus, such as deep breathing, mindfulness, or time management techniques, which can be more effective in a high-pressure environment like an exam.
Ultimately, it's important to follow the rules and ensure you're giving yourself the best chance of success in your exams without risking your academic integrity.

Best of luck with your studies!

If it's in the rules, then it's there for a reason. If you are needing to rely on alcohol to sit the exam, then I strongly advise you to speak to your GP
The usual drunk bored posting I see.

You’re abroad wasting your placement year. Stop fantasising about exams to get a rise out of people.

How is it unfair to other students? It literally wouldn’t affect them lol

I just write better slightly drunk, I could sit an exam sober, but my mark would be lower.
