No offers and I'm panicking

I applied for law, mostly a lot of London unis. My friends doing history and english have gotten 1-2 offers already from unis like York, Manchester, Warwick etc. I haven't gotten anything yet not even an invite to interview. Does this mean my application is bad?? I'm stressing out that I won't get into uni.

Different courses and universities have different timelines. They have many applications to review with law being a competitive course, so no news is good news until you're told otherwise!

Have a look on their website course page to see if they have information on their timeline. If not, I recommend getting in touch with them to help reassure you. Please try not to overwhelm yourself by comparing your application to others, take things a step at a time and believe in both yourself and your abilities.

We're rooting for you! :jumphug:

It's only been 2 days since the UCAS deadline has passed.

I thought the 15th October deadline only applies for Oxford and Cambridge when it comes to law degrees, and that the equal consideration deadline is 29th January 2025. Perhaps I'm missing something?

don't worry - london unis are notoriously late at sending offers! most of them don't begin considering any applications until the january deadline. courses like english are a lot less competitive than law so it makes sense that those offers go out first, and warwick and york are also known for replying very early on 😊

Which London unis did you apply to? Places like UCL, LSE, King’s, etc all use LNAT which they will only get between 21st October and 1st November. They can’t reply before they receive the results

Yeah, king’s takes a lot of time plus it’s waiting for your LNAT. It can start responding after 21st October but will likely take longer. Basically same for Cambridge, except they likely will be quicker cause, I imagine, they would want to interview you like Oxford does.
As for QMUL, login onto their Mysis portal and track. You’ll get the “ucas update pending” message a day or several hours before the offer. So check for that. Otherwise, if QMUL doesn’t respond within four weeks, you should send them a message on their portal (they themselves say that on their website).
