Qualified Beauty Therapist wanting to go to Uni

I studied beauty therapy level 2 & 3 in college a few years ago. I am just a bit stuck as I would like to go to university and study Pharmaceutical and Cosmetic Science... Only problem is I don't have a science qualification (other than GCSE). Does Beauty Therapy count as a science BTEC as Beauty Therapy level 3 was focused a lot on anatomy, physiology, chemistry, biology or do I need to go through the route of Access to Higher Education Diploma/ Applied Science?
