Accounting or Marketing??

Im stuck between the two degrees
Accounting and finance or Management with marketing

I like the look of the course topics in marketing but I don’t know if the course is worth doing like would I be able to go into marketing after accounting without a degree?

I wanna do accounting because I enjoy the mathsy side of it and it will lead to a stable job and I’ve started my personal statement on it but Im worried I wont be able to get the A in maths I need.

What do you want to do afterwards? Marketing or accounting? Two completely different professions.

It sounds to me like you want / feel like you should go to university but don't really know why so are plucking courses that sound interesting out of thin air. I did that. What a waste of time. The difference between you and I is you only get one funded shot.

If you don't know what you want to do afterwards, don't go to university. Get a job. Go travelling. Figure out who you are. Figure out what you like and what you want. This may take 1 - 5+ years. When you have decided, that is the time you go to university if, and only if that is required to achieve what you want to achieve.

If you want to go to university for the university lifestyle, move to a city with lots of universities and get a job, then do the uni lifestyle. You could live in a student slum and live your best life but don't go to university if you don't know why you want to go.

Hey there , choosing a degree can be really tough , I've been there . I always loved maths and physics and wanted to do engineering but I wasn't sure which one . It took a lot of research to figure out what I wanted . The best thing to do would be to visit some University open days and talk to some lecturers for both those courses .
Keep in mind that you could still get into a marketing role even with an accounting degree but that might not be as easy the other way around. Some job roles are more concerned with transferable skills than exact degree's and that's why you might still be able to make a transition but I suggest you look into this a little more .
In regard to getting that A when you apply also apply to other universities that have lower requirements such as a B , so you can have more options .
