UCAS plagiarism

Okay this is going to sound very paranoid because I am. Just to be clear I didn’t plagiarise anything and did not take inspiration from anyone.

I submitted my application earlier this week and have received a confirmation from UCAS that they’ve passed on my application to universities. However, my anxiety is taking over and I’m scared that they may flag some plagiarism from some random personal statement.

Under my application it says this:

Similarity Report

If similarities in your personal statement have been detected, the Similarity Report section will display a colour-coded similarity report. If we have not detected similarities in your personal statement, this section will appear blank.

There’s nothing underneath. I wanted to know if they’ve already checked or are going to, and how long it’ll take them to do this as I just want to calm down!

Don’t worry, if the bottom section is white, you have not plagiarized but if you have it will appear Colour coded. Like Colour purple.

Where exactly does it says this after you submit your application? Do you have to go to like the pdf of what you submitted or what? lol now I’m getting paranoid too for no reason 😂

After you submit you can track your application! Just log in and go to the Personal Statement section and it says it below x

Yes, that’s true. But when I login I just see my “application status”, then go into “view all details” and it’s just a pdf-like grey and black text. No fields or colours underneath.
My application is centre linked though, so maybe that’s why?..
