Widening participation and AAB Predicted grades for veterinary medicine

Hi, im pretty clueless at research so have made an account here to ask if I can get accepted into vet med at Bristol (my preferred choice) with predicted grades AAB. The B is in Maths, with 2 As in chemistry and biology. I read up about something called "widening participation" but I am not actually sure on what it means, and if I am eligible to fall under it. If so, does this increase my chances of getting an offer?

The other unis I applied for are:

UCLAN
Edinburgh
Surrey

UCLAN wants ABB , but I am not sure how much I like the area of Preston. Either way, I put it down as a back-up but still have not thought about it thoroughly yet.

For Bristol's D100 degree (the standard Veterinary Science degree), they accept ABB if you're eligible for a Contextual Offer, for which the details can be found here: Contextual offers | Study at Bristol | University of Bristol.

If you get an offer and want to be a vet, I would personally take it up, regardless of where it is, since Veterinary is so competitive and hard to get interviews and offers. Good luck!

I dont apply for any contextual offers as far as i am aware. will they even LOOK at my application since im predicted AAB instead of AAA. I also must complete a "supplementary assessment questionnaire" where they ask me a few questions that I got to write decently long answers to and they assess whether I am a good choice for the course. But, I am wondering if they will even look at this since I am one grade below entry requirements.
