flashcards (an obvious one but effective for some) use flashcards for when you want to retain small bits of information - don’t spend forever writing loads on one card and then wondering why it isn’t effective!
•
past papers (as I have already mentioned) try to go through past papers once you feel confident and knowledgeable about the subject. If however, you are running out of time and feel you don’t know a lot about the subject, go through the paper with the help of a mark scheme, a teacher, a friend etc.

seneca is great for active recall but not as good for retaining the knowledge over long periods of time. I recommend seneca if you want to get through the content quickly.
