For context, I am applying for BA Economics with IB predicted 45 but, presumably, a very low TMUA score (panicked in the test). In my UCAS statement, I only mentioned one actual book, the rest was dominated by supercurriculars (things I've written, competitions, etc.). Also, I applied for economics&maths joint honours at other unis, so whilst the actual statement could apply for either course, my introduction is about studying the two "in tandem".
So, worried that Cambridge won't find me well-read or focused on economics enough, I am writing an additional PS for the MyCambridge form. I wrote about a feature article in the Nikkei Asia I read recently, linking it to the political aspects of economics and how I would like to study the related modules at Cambridge. However, again, this is not an actual book, and I'm worried a tutor might see this as me reading something quick for the sake of reading something. Am I overthinking this?
