Extra-curriculars on personal statement

Hi, I am looking at applying for history (Warwick being my top choice) and I am wondering if I may get rejected for not writing much about extracurricular activities on my personal statement as I don’t do any sports or anything similar. I have written a couple of sentences about DofE and some volunteering I did but it’s only about 4 lines long.
It's not really recommended to write a great deal on unrelated extracurricular activities. Maybe a sentence or two at the end is sufficient for most unis and courses. Particularly for an academic course like history I think it's a non-factor.

Don’t bother with extra curricular activities. It’s about your Supra curricular - so passion for history and what you have done to show that passion - reading and what you have learned from the reading, lectures and what you learned and what that led you on to looking at etc. My son had an offer for history from Warwick last week and he didn’t list any of his (many) extra curricular activities on his ps. Good luck!

Don't worry about it, I haven't written about any in mine. I'm also hoping to study history at warwick and on their open day was told that they give offers based on predicted grades and don't pay much attention to the personal statement. If you meet the grades and show a good interest in history in your personal statement that's far more important than extra-curriculars. I haven't got an offer yet but I applied on the 14th and it seems I missed their early round of offers, I'm assuming I'll have to wait until after the jan deadline to hear now. Hopefully I'll see you there next year!

i was also at the open day and they said they mainly let you in based on grades, only use personal statements to choose in some situations but that is rare
