Changing courses in 2nd year from Psychology to Radiography

I am a second year student and I have been thinking of changing my course for a few months.
I'm thinking on just transferring in my university as they do diagnostic radiography. I tried to transfer last year but it was too late and spaces were taken.
I have heard NHS courses have different rules and you are eligible for the full funding of the course. But I am not too sure about that.
I just wanted to know if student finance will fund the full length of the new course if I drop out in January as I need to do an interview for the new course.
Hi there,

Can you confirm how many years of previous study you have? Can you confirm the full name of the course, what university will you attend and the duration of the course?

Thanks, Drew

I only have one year of previous study , I am in my second year right now. Diagnostic radiography at Birmingham City University or Coventry . 3 year course
Hi there,

This course is classed as an exception course which means we would not take your previous study into consideration when assessing your entitlement for the new course.

Thanks Drew

Even if I do half of my second year in my current course , I’ll still get the funding for diagnostic radiography is that correct?
Hi there,

Yes that is correct.

Thanks, Drew
