should I include a subject I failed on my personal statement?

I wanted to apply to biological sciences, but am resitting chemistry, as I didn't do well in it should I mention it in my personal statement and if so how, or should I just leave it completely?

Hey.
Your personal statement carries more weightage than you imagine. Your admission and scholarship highly depend on it. I would suggest you to not completely hide it but make sure to put it in a simple and careful words. Avoid all the red flag words and I guess you will get through. Make sure to high your strengths and let them know why you are one of the best for the program and how well it aligns with your interests and career. I hope this helps. Thank you.

I've done a lottt of extracurriculars towards the subjects, I'm just afraid of mentioning it but I guess I should just mention the subject and nothing about the grade itself? thank you so much!! this really helps!
Everything in your PS should be about your suitability and motivation for the course.

If you have mitigating circumstances about your original grade then your referee has a section for this, don't waste your space on it.

More broadly, try not to regurgitate content about AL subects. Every applicant could say the same thing. Make it specific to you.

You're welcome. People don't really care much about grades what I mean here is You can still graduate in Oxford and not land in a job because everyone coming out of the Uni with good grades are not in a good place now. It's the experience aligning to what you are intending to study matters a lot. You're extra curriculars is about the subject, right? Just put it in a right and précised way not too much and not too little. Just the right amount.
