The Student Room Group

Visiting the University of Sheffield-Postgraduate

Are the self-guided tours allowed to be taken at any time and any day or must these be at the same time as student-lead tours on the open days? This is for postgraduate not undergraduate.
Hi,

You can book onto our campus tours, which happen most Wednesday's midday or at our open days, which may be more beneficial to you. However, if you are simply wanting to have a wander around the campus, then feel free to come whenever, as the campus is accessible to the public. You would not, however, be able to go inside the libraries, as these are restricted to students and staff members only, with a university card only policy. The student union is also accessible to the public, so you would be able to have a wander around that too.

Let me know if you have any further questions about this, or specific areas you are interested in seeing.
Thanks
Olivia (4th year) 🙂
