American University Admissions - Extracurriculars

So I’m planning on applying for MIT and Harvard, and I’m not familiar with the admissions process but what I’m most concerned with at the moment are extracurriculars. I don’t do an EPQ, I’m not currently doing any Olympiads or anything like that, however I take 4 a levels (Maths & FM, Physics and Computer science). So what kinds of things will they want? Tutoring maybe? Computer science projects?

Hi, I am also applying to the US! I was actually born there and know a lot about the process. Let me start with USA colleges are MAJOR on extracurriculars. Id argue more than grades! But do not be alarmed. I recommend putting down genuinely anything you think you have done over the past 4 years (or your whole life). Tutoring is a great one! Even helping out around your school. Also if you have something like a photography instagram account. Its so random but seriously they want well-rounded applicants. Let me know if you need anymore help!
