Do I have a chance to go to Warwick?

Want to do ECONOMICS at Warwick, currently writing a mid ish personal statment
Doing media studies, photographical studies and chemistry studies at A level
Predicted BDU (U in chemistry yikes)
I need AAA, I believe I can get at least BBC on results day so will they accept me? It’s not too far from AAA.
I did work experience in a high school where I went into 1 GCSE economics lesson and fell in love with it that’s why I want to do it at uni
So I’m hoping if I write that in they will consider me? Not eligible for a contextual sadly

Hey! Hope this finds you well.

Unfortunately the BsC Economics course at Warwick is A* A* A, with the applicants having to take the TMUA. For a start, the absence of maths will make it impossible for you to obtain an offer as it is mandated for candidates to have a minimum of an A in maths.

The revelation where you realised you wanted to study it is a great way to start a potential personal statement for economics as it shows the real reason why YOU want to study it, not some cliche "I have always been passionate about....."

Birmingham and Lancaster are just two well respected unis who do not require maths.

All the best with your application!
