Have I got caught Mobile speed van on a46 road 60mph

This road goes from a 40 into a 60 and it’s a long road. About a 1.2 miles. Today I was behind a car entering into this 60 road and the car overtakes this car in front of him that was going slow. It’s a single wide road where overtaking can be done. So I decided to overtake. and in the other lane people were flashing so I thought mobile speed camera. There was a mobile speed camera at the top of the road. Me and this car in front were going about 80 but I clocked it earlier than he had and braked. He was directly in front of me but just kept going? Would the speed camera capture me or him?
