guys, I am disappointed that not many top uni’s have a course dedicated to biochemical engineering, it seems to always be integrated into chemical engineering. I only have ucl as a confirmed decision. I would love to hear any other unis/suggestions you have for me. Thank you

The skills needed for biomedical technology or biomedical engineering are more mechanical or chemical engineering or other science (even a lot of data analysts, software engineers etc.). as such industry companies can hire a pool in diverse pools of candidates from several stem degrees.
I know where I went to university & where I worked in research there was optional modules for biomedical engineering & plenty of research in biomedical applications from both the mechanical engineering & physics faculties but there wasnt a dedicated biomedical engineering undergraduate.
Like lots of niches, it’s probably the case there is not the demand from student numbers & employers for lots of universities to justify dedicated programs.
