Which language should I study at uni?

I originally planned on studying French and Spanish (both post-A-level) as part of a languages degree. I am sure about Spanish but might now want to pick up an ab initio language, as I already speak French fluently. I think I would still benefit from a French degree, as my writing is far from perfect and my spoken French mostly revolves around domestic topics. I would otherwise probably choose either Italian or Portuguese. Could someone please give me an idea of what sort of topics (literature, film, history, thought / philosophy etc,.) I would study in these two languages - I know very little about their cultures.

Since you are already speaking French fluently i don't see a reason on why you would take its classes againa. But i think it would be a wonderful idea if you choose to study German, it is so commonly used and very beneficial for anyone who knows how to speak and use German language.
