SFE- BRP not received back

I posted my BRP to SFE one month ago and it has been exactly a month since then. I still haven’t gotten my BRP card back even though SFE said the documents will be returned within 4 weeks. On top of that I am still getting emails to approve my immigration status even though I have sent my BRP card for them to clarify that. What should I do now?

Hi there, evidence takes 6-8 weeks to process from when we receive it. If you've sent it with a tracking number that confirms we've received it then this will be returned once processed. We'll also email you with a tracking number confirming the return of your document. Thanks, Jason

What if I need it before 6 weeks for urgent matter should I contact SFE?

You can call us to request this back however we will then require it back to validate your ID so please be advised your application won't move forward until we've received it for a second time.
