Japanese exams

I'm in my first year at the university of Sheffield
in a couple of weeks i have a mock listening and oral exam for my Japanese class and i am unsure what happens or how to prepare for it if anyone has any ideas or practice tests they have done before and can send to me i would be really appreciate it.
i also have a mid-semester kanji exam coming up and am struggling to find any practice examples of what the test looks like or what to do and ways to effectively revise so any advice or resources would be appreciated

Hmm…I'm Japanese, and I think it's best to remember kanji while understanding their meaning.
For example, there is the kanji "森" (forest), and that it comes from the word "木" (tree), which means tree. In other words, the kanji "mori" comes from the meaning of being full of tree. These kinds of things are called "hen" (radicals). It might be easier to remember if you keep this in mind. Try to keep it in mind! If you have any questions, I'll answer them!! (#^.^#)

Have you asked the person/people who are teaching you what format these exams will be in? It’s not an unreasonable question to ask, and the other people on your course would also find the information useful.

They might not be able to provide sample material.
