STEM Smart programme for maths for economics?

I saw the Cambridge STEM smart programme and it says its for people who want to do science. I am looking to do maths or economics at Cambridge, would I be able to apply for this or is it not worth it?

It would be ok for Maths probably? But depends if you're doing the necessary subjects they ask for. Also it's a fair bit of extra work like up to 5 hours extra a week on top of studies. Unless you think you're going to get something out of it for your maths, and aren't considering it simply because it's a Cambridge programme or you just want to be able to say you've done it, then probably not worth it for you.
