Accommodation after a gap year
Basically I'm applying this year just like everyone else but deferring my application to 2026 - which is when I'll be joining uni. I'm planning to live in student accommodation and I'm just confused about the whole process. Since applying for student accommodation now would be too early when would I have to apply if I'm joining in 2026???

hi there! if you're talking about applying for halls, you’ll more than likely have to do it the year before you’re due to start (for example in 2025 when the year before you are applying for university). but i’m sure you’ll receive a notification via email when accommodation opens up for you!
