for poems, flshcards is the bets option, id watch 'glow up your grades' channel shes really good at analysing poems, for acc check ou mr salles. honest;y best revision is to just read over ur texts and make flashcards, and wtaching videos to learn (and maybe memorise) grade 9 analysis

ofc ill PM u some essays. not too late, js start now and make the most out of the holiday. i rlly recomend watching Mr Salles yt videos - theyre amazing for grade 9 analysis, also watch the lightup hub videos and buy the lightup hub website - i bought it the day b4 my paper 1 exam (macbeth, acc) and it helped me sooo much in those few hours so definetly get it. memorise quotes AND grade 9 ANALYSIS! i was getting a similar grade at this time last year, so u can definetly get that 9, js work hard 💪

Can u send me model essays too plzzz xx for AIC ACC and Macbeth and potery (power and conflict and unseen) plz I really need help and Im in Y11.

hi, im doing aqa i dont really enjoy english but i want to be able to understand it and revise and maybe i will start to enjoy it if ya get wha i mean. the topic i find most challenging is rememberign all the qoutes from acc,aic and macbeth its actually stressing me out rn

i follow the aqa exam board, doing christmas carol, macbeth, an inspector calls and power & conflict. i find an inspector calls the easiest as it's simple to understand and i know most key quotes. i don't understand why tissue is on the poetry when it is so complicated.

Does anyone here do Jekyll and Hyde? I’m aiming for a 9 in English Lit but I’m constantly getting 7s and 8s. If anyone has any resources for Jekyll and Hyde, An inspector calls or Romeo and Juliet is there any chance u could share them? Thank you so much!!!

i would read through the poems regularly, i even memorised some completely (altho thats not at all necessary), but i mostly used flsshcards with around three of the best quotes from each poem, and made sure they linked to certain themes. for texts, i aslo used flashcards, but around 15 for each. the more essays u write with those quotes, the better theyll stick in ur head!

how did you revise for power and conflict poetry? do you follow predictions or just revise all the poems? I'm really stressed rn bc there's barely any time left, got no clue what I'm doing tbh but I genuinely love literature bc its so interesting so I want to get a good grade 😭

honestly, theres no point following predictions cos noone knows what the question will be, aqa can be very deceitful sometimes 😑 cos im pretty sure bayonet charge has come up like three times already, and others have never come up. but i can tell u that tissue will never come up, its js there for smart students who wanna compare it with the poem, but still revise it ofc in the small chance that it comes up. in fact revise everything! i had a few go-to poems for each topic e.g. remains for war, emigrée for power of identity/memory etc. but js make sure u revise everything, even if predictions say that its gonna be nature, still revise war poems, cos we were told it was gonna be power of nature, but we got a war poem again.
also buy the lightup hub right now if u haven't already! it literally saved my grades for english! good luck!!
