MPharm pre-registration year

I know it will come after graduation from my MPhram course. However, I would like to know when will it be usually start?

As I know the pre-reg exam is in June, does it mean that I have to start my pre-registration training year just after my graduation, like in July/August? Is it possible for me to start my training year in September and will I get enough time to go to the exam in the coming June if I do that?

The GPhC sets out an end date to start training if you want to sit the June exam, it's usually the start of August that's the deadline for starting training. You don't have to start in July/August but if you start in September, they'll make you sit the November exam. They are not very flexible when it comes to deadlines. Have a look at their website for a rough idea of the timescale of the training year: https://www.pharmacyregulation.org/students-and-trainees/pharmacist-education-and-training/foundation-training-scheme/key-information-trainees

It depends on when your uni exams are. Some trainees I know have taken days off to attend their graduation. There is a cut off point for when you must pass resit exams in order to sit the earliest pre -reg exam
