EPQ medicine topcs

Hi, Im struggling to find any topics to base my EPQ on, i'm interested in cardiology so i thought i could do it based off of that but no interesting topics come to mind. I'm open to any other suggestion to topics in medicine as well.
Thanks!

I’m no doctor or med student but I suggest you think about why cardiology appeals to you. What area your find interesting in cardiology and narrow it down and look for a niche element or probe into a recent hot topic. Perhaps health and lifestyle influences and their impact on: treatments, the nhs system, nhs finances, ethics of treating people who don’t change their lifestyle, drs biases and their impact on treatments offered or patient outcomes etc. Or new burgeoning/experimental treatments (cost to benefit ratio (financial and/or patient safety), risk v benefits, potential areas of use and likelihood of becoming the next big thing, drug testing processes/speed of introduction and the moral/ethical aspects. Or mistakes that were made in the past and are we still at risk of something similar again? I’m sure there’s loads of potential ideas. If you know any doctors perhaps ask their opinion?
