What are the simplest things you can do in your sketchbook to get a 9 in art?

Hi I did gcse edexcel art and recently got a 9. From the start I never thought it was possible to get a 9 while I was on a 6, but I realised it’s about the development and the detail you put in your work. Titles and backgrounds don’t matter but especially for the final project in year 11 don’t forget about the development. Some of my friends’ final pieces were better than mine but I got a higher mark because I took the time to show my thought processes the weeks before.
