MMA hard sparring

I do MMA and I love it, its been almost three years and id say I'm alright at it, idk why but I enjoy the thrill of hard sparring whenever I do it, I know its not healthy and I can get brain damage so I was wondering how often I can do it with minimal damage? Also none of my friends are sparring me and I have a private tutor so theres no one to sparr really, so I was also wondering how I could change that.

You can wear a head guard to minimalize the risk of critical injuries. If that is the only reason why are you so afraid of

Sparring in training? once a month and if you intend to participate in competitions once in a week.

I box and it might potentially be worse than MMA, but Ive always thought that the harmful side comes in the later stages of your career like the professional stage. Thats why I don't aspire to go professional in boxing and instead stay at ametueur. Maybe that's a suggestion for MMA?
