Keto diet

Has anyone tried keto and how did you find it? I'm trynna lose weight and control my diet as an 18 yr old any tips? x

Do you actually need to lose weight?

If you do, just be in a calorie deficit through food intake and/or exercise. You don't need to go cutting out whole food groups and an occasional treat is fine.

Yes, I wouldn’t say I’m obese but I am on the heavy side and it has been affecting me quite a bit since I wasn’t always this way.

I have tried that and I’ve even tried intermittent fasting but it works for about a week and then I give up. I love my food and things like portion control or eating certain food or not eating certain foods in so hard to me. I don’t mind the exercise it’s the diet I struggle with. I also work full time 9-5 and studying for my a levels in the evenings and weekends so sometimes I eat mindlessly not thinking because I’m so busy or I’ll be like just this one time and then it keeps happening. Or sometimes I won’t have time to workout.
