Submitted MyCApp late

I am outside of the UK away from home and so experienced technological and timezone issues such that I submitted the My Cambridge Application form late, 1 hour and 3 minutes after the deadline.
I received an email saying I'll be contacted about it soon so instead of explaining why, I decided to wait for the next email.
The next email was that they can no longer continue considering your application.
I decided to email about my situation but the email wasn't devoted entirely to the late submission but replying to a different email too (both related to me beibg out of the country) so it was ambiguous that I was asking whether my application could be reconsidered. Instead, I just got confirmation that my application is no longer considered.
Do I write another email, making it clear or is there no chance of Cambridge?

Unfortunately you missed the deadline. If you had emailed earlier/ahead of time explaining if you were going to have or were having difficulties that might have been considered (no guarantee), but there's a deadline for a reason and here's the outcome...

It is over I'm afraid. They have already confirmed that they have rejected you due to your late submission. They won’t reverse their decision.

Cambridge sent out at least one email per day to remind people about the submission deadline. They also mentioned that you should email them if you have trouble submitting the MyCambridge Application. Therefore I don’t think they will consider any explanation sent to them after the deadline…Next time be careful of the time zone.

Thank you, and the others who replied, for the (unfortunate) responses. I guess that you are right, though it is also harder to read emails without an Internet connection.
