Nursing uni interview declined due to 3 reschedules maximum rule?

Hi,

What is the 3 maximum reschedule rule? Apparently, I can't have my interview rescheduled because I've hit the maximum amount?

So, I had one scheduled for 26th July for September entry. I didn't go through with that as I withdrew my application, I wasn't 100% sure if I wanted to do adult nursing or mental health. I applied again in October for the January 2025 intake, they put my application through and I then got given an interview for the 16th. I couldn't attend that day due to having an emergency wisdom tooth removal, as it was impacted and infected. They then rescheduled it for the 23rd which I also couldn't attend due to still being in pain, they have now told me that I can't reschedule for another time because it would be a fourth and the maximum is three.

Is there anything I can do about this? Anyone got any advice?

Thanks.
Maybe try asking again, explain your situation and ask if the rule is 3 appointments in total, or per intake, (if it’s per intake then you should be offered another).

It’s up to them as to how many opportunities they give applicants for interviews, multiple requests for rescheduling may suggest indecisiveness and a lack of commitment to the course (not saying this about you, but think how they may perceive things). However, lots of universities are struggling with filling courses at the moment, so you may stand a good chance.
There's also the fact that only giving you a week to recover after a medical procedure could be regarded as inadequate.
