Uni for mechatronics

I got an offer from liverpool and manchester for mechatronics and i’m not sure which to choose as they both seem pretty similar. I’m also factoring in the night life aswell if anyone can help me out?

Hi
Congrats on both offers! Academically, both Manchester and Liverpool have strong engineering programs with a good reputation in mechatronics, so you’d likely get a solid education at either.
For nightlife, both cities offer vibrant options but with different vibes:

Manchester: Known for its music scene, from classic venues to a diverse club and bar scene in areas like the Northern Quarter and Deansgate. It’s bigger and busier, with plenty of student hotspots and events almost every night.

Liverpool: It has a more compact feel but is equally lively. The nightlife here is often described as friendly and affordable, with spots like Concert Square and the Baltic Triangle offering a great mix of clubs, pubs, and live music.

If you’re leaning toward a larger, bustling city with lots of variety, Manchester might be more your speed. If you’d prefer a vibrant but slightly smaller scene with a close-knit feel, Liverpool could be a great choice!
