oxbrige without maths?

hello
i was wondering can i get into those too uni’s including: oxford, cambridge, UCL, LSE, imperial, without maths for a level?

i’m planning on doing geography, biology, chemistry and possible english lit (but will probably drop).

is it still possible to get into biochemistry without maths?

What do the relevant webpages for those universities say about entry requirements and the need for maths?

For starters, LSE don’t offer biochemistry or any course in the natural sciences field for that matter. Cambridge offer natural sciences with the option to choose a track later down the line. Imperial and Oxford would accept your subject combination, as biology and chemistry are listed as two accepted/required science subjects. Cambridge and UCL both require mathematics (Cambridge for natural sciences and UCL for biochem), meaning that you would not meet the requirements with your current combination and almost certainly be rejected. As above, you need to be checking the entry requirements of the universities you wish to apply to for your course.

As long as the course doesn't require maths then sure, why not.

Note that LSE don't offer any science degrees, they're a specialist institution teaching social sciences.

Cambridge offers biochemistry via natural sciences and I doubt you would be a competitive applicant without A-level Maths realistically. I believe it's strongly preferred for Oxford biochemistry as well. Not sure about Imperial or UCL.

Note that the sciences at degree level are necessarily mathematical, and the artificial divide between the sciences and maths doesn't exist at degree level. Realistically to be a scientist you need to be comfortable with a certain level of maths and A-level Maths is a fairly modest ask as the mininmal mathematical background for any scientist.

While plenty of other unis for undergrad level don't require A-level Maths for biochemistry it a) may present an issue for some of those you have specifically targeted and b) you may want to consider if realistically any science degree is a good fit if you're uncomfortably with maths beyond GCSE.
