Queen Mary University of London Law GCSE Requirements

hi,

i want to apply for the law undergraduate program but im having issues with the gcse requirements specifically maths.

A minimum of six GCSE passes at grades AAAABB or 777766 including English and Mathematics, or an acceptable equivalent.

my gcses are 76,9,8,D*,2D with english at 78
so i have no issues there but my maths grade is a 5

is it worth applying?

You can definitely get into better universities, what are your A-Level grades or predicted ?

my preds are A* A* A however only 2 of them are alevels. the other one is the WJEC applied diploma in criminology which is the one giving me the most issues. i wasnt aware when i had first joined that a lot of unis dont recognise it as a qualification like UCL. However my current list of unis do accept it: KCL, Queen Mary, Warwick, Cardiff and Sussex (safe). do you have any recommendations for "better" unis? i was thinking of switching QMUL and Cardiff and maybe potentially warwick due to the distance (i prefer london since its the closest).

University of Bristol is pretty close to london and accepts a combination i think, Bristol is also really highly ranked, just email and call and make sure but i think they need the lnat, have you taken the Lnat? Kings also requires the lnat. I would say keep Kings, Queen mary and cardiff, if warick is too far you can change it, and change sussex too, i know its a risk not to have a safe university but you need to remember so many universities go through clearing for law, last year queen mary, southampton and cardiff were all in clearing for law.

im revising for the lnat, my exam is on dec 10. i thinnkk i can get a score of 26 (or above) so hopefully that'll be enough. what would you suggest changing warwick and sussex to? i thought i would put down sussex as i was a part of their access program but i was told not to put too much trust into clearing. i dont think im going to flunk my alevels but i like having security, so are there any reputable law unis that accept offers like AAB or ABB?
