NHS LSF Repeat study or not ?

I completed 1 year Bsc adult nursing ( 3 year full time course 2023/2024). I am now studying Bsc mental heatlh nursing at a different university. This is year 1 Bsc mental health nursing in September 2024/2025.

I have received NHS LSF through out my first year plus parental support for academic year 2023/2024. Will still entitle for NHS LSF funding for year 1 Bsc mental health this 2024/2025 academic year.
The previous uni where I was studying Adult Nursing has already confirmed to NHS LSF that I had withdrawn from that course on 21.08.24.
Can anyone help me with this?

Have you informed the NHS LSF that you withdrew from your first course and have you reapplied for this year for your new course? It should be you that keeps the NHS LSF informed of your status.

Yes I have done both of these things. The NHS LSF needed to receive confirmation from my previous uni though. My LSF application is still pending approval.
The issue is that I can't get a clear answer anywhere on whether I'll be eligible for funding for this year. I am not repeating study, I am studying a different course but doing year 1 again. Would this be classed as a repeat thus making me not eligible or will I get funding ?

You should still be entitled to the NHS LSF for the new course as it is still eligible for the payments. I've seen posts from other members on TSR that have changed healthcare courses and received NHS LSF support again.

Thank you so much for your reply, fingers crossed that I receive it
Hi. I’m having a bit of a nightmare with nhs lsf at the moment. I transferred my course over this year. My application was approved and my university confirmed my attendance. However on my account the status has now changed to pending NHSBSA. Does anybody know what that means?

What does NHSBSA do....
NHS Business Services Authority (NHSBSA) is an arm's length body of the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC). It provides critical central services to support the priorities of the NHS, government, and local health economies.
