Counselling training?
Wondered how to train as a counsellor without spending loads of money, I’m over 19 so don’t get college courses free but it seems you need to do L2, L3, L4 + and I just don’t have the money, I’ve already done paid education in other things. The other problem is that providers near me only do daytime classes which isn’t suitable. Any help appreciated please! Thanks!

Have you checked the CPCAB website? Some providers do levels 2 and 3 over zoom so you get the skills practice in and some are in the evenings. Level 4 will need to be face to face though. During level 4 you will need your own personal therapy and supervision (many offer student discounts) and also membership body cost and insurance (not all placements cover their student counsellors, it’s not too expensive though).
Some people who already hold a degree go straight on to do their masters or go from level 2/3 straight to their masters. Just make sure it has 100 hrs of placement.
