EPQ ideas (history based if possible)

I'm currently in year 12 and starting my EPQ project but I have no idea what topic to do it on and don't want to choose something that is too vague or even too precise
My A-Levels are History, Politics and English Lang/lit and I've been thinking about doing a history based EPQ dissertation, probably on an area post-1900
I've thought about World War II, the atomic bombs on Japan, 9/11, the Titanic or even the Cold War as possible areas but have no idea what sort of questions I could make up as titles for these topics?
If anyone has any suggestions it would be very appreciated!!!!

I think you should do something on a topic that isn't taught in school. For mine, I did Opium wars because it's a dark time in British history, which I think really needs to be addressed and not swept under the carpet, so perhaps if you want you could explore colonialism and it's effects.

I'm also in year 12 and starting an EPQ this year, my teacher said that we don't have to have a set question until later down the line. I think if you have a topic that you're interested in, just do some research on that and a question/title will come later. It might be worth checking with your school's EPQ leader when you need to solidify a question?
