EPQ pancreatic cancer

Hi guys i have started my epq and after some time i think i have decided that i want to focus my epq on pancreatic cancer. My grandad was diagnosed with that before passing away and i had seen the stages and the affect it has in real life, so i thought that researching it will also give me that closure of actually understanding the process of it and the possible treatments. I am not sure if researching “treatments for pancreatic cancer” wouldn’t be too boring and possibly repetitive? Although this is a rare type of cancer and if not caught really early(which is almost impossible i’ve read) it can actually be incurable and the process can only be slowed down. What are your thoughts and do you have any ideas of how to structure another question on pancreatic cancer?
Thank you!!

I think this is a good choice to focus your EPQ on because it is personal to you which always adds more meaning to any work, as you'll find yourself more passionate towards this topic. You sound like you know quite a bit about it so I'd say go for it and just make sure you get a lot of extra reading done but also write a timeline/ journal of what you did each day to work towards the EPQ, whether that's going to the library and reading a book for references, or reading a newspaper, absolutely anything. I don't think the treatments for pancreatic cancer are boring, especially since it's a rare disease and can be incurable. It all depends on how you lay your work out and the title of the EPQ which is ultimately what you will be answering.
