Fraud

Hi guys over £200 has been away from me due to subscriptions I have cancelled and random money has been taken away that I do not recognise.

I contacted the bank before about this issue and they haven't refunded me back and cancelled my case so want to contact the police as this is not fair and I cant afford for this to happen again.

Have you been through this and did you ever contact the police Did it make it quicker for you to get back your money?

Do NOT bother the Police. This is a Civil and not a criminal matter so they can't do anything. If the Bank have closed the case they obviously don't think it is fraud (what did they say?). If you have cancelled subscriptions did you actually cancel with the correct notice period as per the contract, or did you just stop the payment? If you just stop paying the companies will still take the money if the contract allows. What were the subscriptions for (phone / internet / Gym etc?)
Is the subscription the Disney one?

Have you checked your statements for what is coming out of your account? What don't you recognise about these other payments; the amounts, the reference for the payee?

As the other posters have said, what reason did the bank give for not refunding the money and closing the case? I find it hard to believe that they would do this and not give a reason.

Did you raise this through the bank's formal complaints process? If you did, the bank should have told you about your right to raise a complaint with the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS).

If this wasn't dealt with through the bank's complaints process, then you should do that now. The FOS won't be able to investigate without you going through the bank's process first.
